What Happens When You Call

We start with a few direct questions: what the system is doing, when it started, and whether you see an error code or hear an unusual sound. A furnace that short-cycles, an outdoor unit that hums but will not start, and ice on the refrigerant line each point to different parts, so your answers decide what the tech brings. If your heat is out on a cold night, we treat it as an emergency, with no emergency or after-hours fees.

For repairs, we diagnose the problem at your home, explain the cause in plain terms, and give you a written quote before any work begins. Once you approve the work, what you paid for the diagnosis is credited toward that repair, so the visit is not a separate cost. For AC installation, furnace installation, heat pumps or ductless mini-splits, the estimate is free. If a heat pump is the right fit, we also walk you through the paperwork for the Avista rebate and the federal tax credit so you can collect both.

Have These Ready Before You Call

  1. The brand and model number from the data plate on your furnace, air handler or outdoor condenser.
  2. Any blinking LED code on the furnace control board, usually visible through a small window in the blower door.
  3. What you have already checked, such as the thermostat batteries, the breaker and the air filter.
  4. Your address and anything the tech should know about reaching the equipment, like a locked gate or a crawlspace hatch.
